Springfield, Ill. – Robert Morris University – Springfield Associate Athletic Director has announced the hiring of fomer local soccer star Brooke Bull to take over the reigns of the Women’s Soccer program.
Brooke comes to RMU with a very high level playing background dating back to her high school days in Springfield through her collegiate play out-of-state. She played club soccer for 12 years, having played more than 500 games with Five Star S.C. In 2003, Brooke was selected to the Illinois ODP State Team. That team went on to win the Region II Tournament and won 4th place at the National Tournament.
Her collegiate career began at NCAA DII University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where she was a starter for both her freshman and sophomore years, and selected as a GLVC All-Conference Honorable mention. She continued and finished her career at NCAA DI Gardner-Webb University. During her senior season, Brooke was selected to the Big South All-Conference Second Team.
Brooke currently is a trainer and coach with SASA (Springfield Area Soccer Association) Spirits, and has been a leader with local soccer camps over the years. She resides in Springfield, Ill.
