Wroclaw, Poland – The 48th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup got underway on Saturday, November, 24th with the qualifying rounds and Robert Morris Men’s Bowler Marshall Kent is representing Team USA in this year’s competition. Kent qualified for this year’s competition after winning the Team USA Bowling Trials earlier this year.
Thus far, Kent sits in third place out of 81 bowlers averaging 226.40 and a total of 1,132 through five games. The qualifying rounds consist of 20 games and the top 24 bowlers will advance on to bowl eight additional games in the next round. The top eight bowlers will then progress to round-robin match play with the top three individuals in this phase advancing on to the stepladder finals to determine the tournament’s champion.
Kent has represented Team USA at the junior levels but this is his first time representing the team on the adult level. The event features top bowlers from across the world and more information and results can be found at the link below.
