Chicago, Ill. – The fourth ranked Robert Morris Men’s Basketball team knocked off visiting Langston University by a score of 73-64 on Wednesday, November 14th at Attack Athletics. The Eagles evened their season overall record at 2-2 with the win.
The Eagles opened the game with a 6-0 run but then both teams had trouble hitting their shots early on. RMU held a 14-9 lead with 9:32 left in the half but Langston would not go away and took their first lead of the game just over a minute later to make it 15-14. Langston went on to build a lead as large as five points and led 28-27 at the half.
Robert Morris reclaimed the lead at 33-31 with 17:56 left to play and it was a lead that they would not relinquish for the remainder of the game. The Eagles stretched their lead to as many as 13 points on three separate occasions and closed out the game for a 73-64 win.
Brian Bradley led RMU with 19 points and Dumas had 15 points. Kashaune McKinney chipped in with 11 points for the Eagles.
The Eagles travel to Winona Lake, Indiana to take part in the Grace College Tournament. On Friday, November 16th the Eagles take on Huntington University and then RMU plays hosts Grace College on Saturday, November 17th with both games tipping off at 3:00 P.M.
