Eagles Receiving Votes in 2012-2013 NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the 2012-2013 NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll and Robert Morris was receiving votes in the poll.

The Eagles received 37 points and are tied with Loyola (La.) at #26 just behind 25th ranked Faulkner (Ala.), who received 51 points.  RMU finished the 2011-2012 season with an 18-11 record, falling a game short of the NAIA National Tournament losing to Saint Xavier in the CCAC Conference Tournament championship game.

Robert Morris opens up the 2012-2013 season on Friday, November 2nd as they take on Concordia University in the Purdue Calumet Tournament.  The Eagles will play Cornerstone University in their final game of the tournament on Saturday, November 3rd.
