Chicago, Ill. – The Robert Morris Men’s Basketball team came up with a big win on Tuesday, January 8th, defeating Campbellsville University (Ky.) by the score of 76-63 at Attack Athletics. The Eagles avenged a 75-57 loss at Campbellsville earlier this season and raised their season record to 8-10 on the year.
The first eight minutes of the game were a back and forth affair between the two teams, but the Eagles opened up a seven-point lead on a Sean Montgomery lay-up with 9:47 left in the first half. RMU held this lead until the final minute of the opening stanza, however, the Tigers took a 37-36 lead on two Justin Ennis’ free throws and led 39-38 at the break.
