Vancouver, Wash. – The NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Championships were held on Saturday, November 17th and Robert Morris runners Mizael Carrera and JuanCarlos Barrera participated as individuals in the race.

On a rainy race day, the course turned muddy as sophomore Mizael Carrera finished in 33rd place with a time 25:26 in the 8k national race.  He fell short of All-America status by three places and just four seconds off the pace.

Senior JuanCarlos Barrera finished in 56th place with a time of 25:43 in his third NAIA National meet.

This was the first time in over ten years that RMU had more than one runner compete in the NAIA National Championships.
